Agile2018

Countdown to my favorite time of the year – Agile2018!

It’s less than a week until Agile2018 kicks off, and I’m so excited! Ever since I first started attending the conference in 2016, I have been amazed at the mix of professional and personal development and awesome networking. The amount of learning acquired and relationships built has been invaluable!

Daily recaps will be posted on this blog, just like in 2016 and 2017, so please follow along.

This year, I was involved in a couple of ways 1) as a track reviewer for the Learning track, and 2) a member of the Women in Agile Launching New Voices program committee.

Please consider joining us on Sunday, August 5th, for the Women in Agile Conference, which is part of the Agile Alliance’s Women in Agile Initiative. Participants of all genders are welcome.

It’s been a rewarding experience “paying it forward” with this year’s program team (Billie Schuttpeltz, Jenny Tarwater and Linda Podder), and I’m excited for the Mentees to showcase their hard work in their talks (list below).

  • Farzaneh Orak – What is in Your Mind is Going to be in Your Hands
  • Qarina Mannaf – How to Develop Communities of Practice for Female Leadership in the Agile Community
  • Susan Webber – Collaborative Problem-Solving in the Workplace.

Also, a huge thank you to our Mentors for giving their time to guide our new voices: Faye ThompsonLlewellyn Falco, and Cheryl Hammond.

Look forward to seeing everyone at Agile2018 and learning together!
