It’s been a busy three months since I wrote my last blog post, so here’s a post to recap what I’ve been up to while I haven’t been blogging.
- PMI Chicagoland Mentoring – I’m having a great time being a Mentor for the PMI Chicagoland chapter. The program has been wonderful and well structured, and my Mentee is the best. So eager to learn! The mentoring program kicked off in January and will run until June. I am very appreciative of being connected to my mentee and all the other connections from the program.
- Agile Alliance’s Agile2017 Project, Program and Portfolio Track Submission Reviews – this year, I had the honor of serving as one of the track reviewers for Agile2017, and it was a great experience. I enjoyed helping individuals out with their submissions and helping craft the final program for the track. Can’t wait to see it in action at the conference! Hope to see you there!
- Agile Alliance and PMI’s Joint Effort – Agile Practice Guide Review – I also had the opportunity to review an early version of the Agile Practice Guide. I’m really looking forward to its publication later this year because the content is extremely helpful when determining the type of framework to use when setting up a project.
Other than those efforts, I was fortunate to be welcomed back to be a panelist at two project management courses at Illinois Institute of Technology, a guest at an i.c.stars High Tea (such a fun experience) and have been attending a few Meetups here and there.
Now I just need to get back to blogging regularly…
May you be happy and well!
